<p>At <strong>08:00 AM</strong>, you’ll meet your guide and depart for <strong>Angkor Thom</strong>, the great fortress city of King Jayavarman VII. Constructed after the Cham invasion (Pangong Tso7-1181), this incredible complex is a testament to the strength and vision of the Khmer Empire.</p><p>Begin your exploration at <strong>Bayon Temple</strong>, the heart of Angkor Thom. Its 54 towering structures, adorned with the serene faces of Avalokiteshvara, reflect both artistic mastery and the legacy of the Khmer Empire.</p><p>Next, discover <strong>the Terrace of the Leper King</strong>, an intricately carved royal crematorium thought to depict Yama, the god of death. A walk along the grand <strong>Terrace of Elephants</strong> reveals its role as a royal viewing platform, where kings once presided over grand ceremonies. The journey continues with a visit to <strong>Baphuon</strong>, an 11th-century architectural gem that once stood as one of Angkor’s most breathtaking temples.</p><p>Then proceed to <strong>Ta Prohm</strong>, commonly known as the “Tomb Raider” temple. A short walk leads to the <strong>One Pillar Pagoda</strong>, a remarkable structure dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy and considered one of the most unique pagodas in the world.</p><p>Then explore the diverse cultures of Vietnam at the <strong>Vietnam Ethnology Museum</strong>, showcasing the traditions of 54 ethnic minorities. On Monday, the program will include the <strong>Vietnamese Women’s Museum</strong> instead.</p><p>After a delicious Vietnamese lunch, continue to <strong>Tran Quoc Pagoda</strong>, Hanoi’s oldest temple, beautifully situated on a small island in <strong>West Lake</strong>.
