<p>Explore the wonderful wonders of Angkor with a new group of friends!</p><p>Begin the day at the gigantic <strong>Angkor Thom complex</strong>, where you can see the distinctive faces of <strong>Bayon Temple</strong> and the jungle-covered ruins of <strong>Ta Prohm</strong> (the iconic Tomb Raider Temple). Take a break and enjoy Cambodian food at a local restaurant in the Angkor Complex, but you have to pay yourself.</p><p>First, you’ll visit the magnificent<strong> Angkor Wat</strong>, then proceed to Phnom Bakheng, from which you can witness a lovely sunset in the sky. As only 300 people are allowed at the top, we provide you with ample time to take in the views. At night, we’ll head back to town and ensure that we drop you off comfortably at your hotel.</p>

<p>Start the day by visiting the busy <strong>Rulous Market</strong>, where vendors trade fresh fruits and vegetables as well as handicraft items. This market gives you an authentic insight into Cambodian life. Next, visit a peaceful pagoda to gain insight into the important religious customs that influence the life and religion of the people.</p><p>Continue on your journey to the incredible<strong> floating villages</strong>, where stilt houses rise above the water, and life bridges schools, farms, and floating hospitals. Observe from your boat how resilient the villagers are as they navigate a world composed of water, overcoming challenges with determined smiles.</p><p>Following this amazing experience, go back to your hotel before going to the airport for your flight to <strong>Hanoi</strong>. On arrival, our guide and driver will welcome you to the airport to take you to your hotel, where you can check in from 02:00 PM.</p><p>The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. <p>Around 08:00 – 08:30 AM, your journey begins as our guide and driver pick you up at your hotel. The first stop is <strong>Tran Quoc Pagoda</strong>, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, quietly resting on a small island in West Lake since the 6th century.</p><p>You’ll reach the <strong>Ho Chi Minh Complex</strong>. Here, you can admire the solemn <strong>Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum</strong>, stroll through the peaceful gardens to visit his <strong>Stilt House</strong>, and explore the unique <strong>One Pillar Pagoda</strong> built in dedication to the Goddess of Mercy.</p><p>Continue your trip with a visit to the <strong>Vietnam Museum of Ethnology</strong>, offering a deep dive into the traditions of 54 ethnic groups across Vietnam. (On Mondays, we will visit the Vietnamese Women’s Museum instead).</p><p>After a delicious Vietnamese lunch around 12:45 PM, we head to the <strong>Temple of Literature</strong>, Vietnam’s first university, founded in 1070, and a symbol of learning and culture.</p><p>In the afternoon, we move to <strong>Hoa Lo Prison</strong>, known as the “Hanoi Hilton” by American POWs, to hear powerful stories from the colonial and wartime periods.</p><p>Optional: For those who want a little more, choose to add a cyclo ride around the <strong>Old Quarter</strong>, a traditional <strong>water puppet show</strong>, or both, depending on your preference!</p>

<p>A scenic journey from Hanoi commences your <strong>Halong Bay adventure</strong>. Upon boarding the luxurious cruise, a welcome drink and a delectable lunch await. The vessel glides through iconic limestone karsts, offering breathtaking views.</p><p>The afternoon presents opportunities to explore the bay. Guests can choose kayaking or a bamboo boat ride through serene waterways. As the sun sets, relax on the sundeck and join a cooking class. A sumptuous seafood dinner follows, and the evening offers activities like squid fishing or stargazing.</p>

<p>After a delicious breakfast, enjoy the morning sunbathing and taking in the stunning views of the bay. Around 11:30 AM, a tasty brunch will be served as the boat heads back to the harbor. Upon arrival in Hanoi, you’ll have free time until our car arrives to transfer you to the airport for your flight to <strong>Da Nang</strong>. Once in Da Nang, our driver and guide will pick you up and take you to your hotel to check in at 02:00 PM.</p><p>Meals on your own, and overnight in Da Nang.</p>

<p>Around 12:00 PM, your guide and driver will pick you up from your Da Nang hotel and head to <strong>Cam Thanh Coconut Village</strong>. Glide through peaceful palm-lined waterways in a traditional Vietnamese basket boat and try your hand at local fishing techniques. This immersive experience offers a glimpse into the daily life of central Vietnam’s river communities.</p><p>By 02:30 PM, continue your journey to <strong>Hoi An Old Town</strong>, a UNESCO World Heritage site where history whispers from every alley. Highlights include:</p><p>At 06:00 PM, enjoy a tranquil boat ride along the Hoai River. Release flower lanterns into the water — a meaningful local tradition to wish for good luck and happiness.</p><p>After exploring the lantern-lit streets and vibrant night market, return to your hotel around 06:30 PM. Dinner is on your own this evening.</p>

A stunning <strong>Lady Buddha statue</strong> awaits, set against a backdrop of towering mountains and a tranquil bonsai garden. As you stroll through the garden, you’ll be enveloped in fresh air, accompanied by captivating stories that bring the place to life.</p><p>By 09:30 AM, your next stop will be the <strong>Marble Mountains</strong>, where a climb (or elevator ride) to the top offers panoramic views of five limestone and marble hills. Within these mountains, Buddhist sanctuaries and Hindu grottoes await exploration, especially the famous <strong>Âm Ph? Cave</strong>, known for its fascinating natural formations. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, savoring authentic Vietnamese flavors.</p><p>By 12:30 PM, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel before heading to Da Nang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Meals are at your leisure.</p>

<p>Start your day by visiting the legendary <strong>Independence Palace</strong>, also called the Reunification Palace. This is an important historical emblem of Vietnam and was the design of the noted architect Ngo Viet Thu. Proceed with exploring the French colonial buildings of the city by visiting the beautiful <strong>Notre Dame Cathedral</strong> and the grand <strong>Central Post Office</strong>. A trip to the <strong>War Remnants Museum</strong> will give you a better understanding of Vietnam’s history, with lots of exhibits from the Indochina wars.</p><p>You’ll have a tasty lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the <strong>Cu Chi Tunnels</strong>, a drive of one and a half hours.</p><p>Upon arrival, you’ll watch a video explaining how this complex network of tunnels was built and how people lived here during the war. Then head into the tunnels to see living areas, command centers, rooms for weapon storage, and hidden traps that were all part of Vietnam’s fight against its enemies.</p><p>Complete your tour by sampling some specialty tea and cassava, the wartime staple food for guerrilla fighters. Relax, shop, and eat in Ho Chi Minh City during the afternoon, or, for the slightly adventurous, attempt some real shooting practice (optional, at your own cost). In the late afternoon, you’ll return to Ho Chi Minh City.</p><p>Dinner is self-arranged. Overnight stay at the hotel.</p>

<p>Depart from the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City and travel to <strong>My Tho</strong>, a peaceful riverside town on the left bank of the Mekong River. The first destination is <strong>Vinh Trang Pagoda</strong>, a beautiful temple that was established in the late 19th century. Then, you’ll board a local sampan and cruise on the Mekong, passing by the four legendary islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise.</p><p>At <strong>Unicorn Island</strong>, why don’t you walk along lush orchards, sample fresh tropical fruits, and hear traditional folk music played by island artists? Then, you can head to a family-owned fruit plantation, and slide along the picturesque <strong>Thoi Son canal</strong> in a sampan hand-rowed by a pleasant boatman. Enjoy honey tea at a honeybee farm, and then visit a coconut candy workshop where the delicious confection is made.</p><p>Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before taking a rest. In the afternoon, cycle through <strong>Tan Thach Village</strong> to wave to hospitable villagers and observe everyday life in the Mekong Delta. If cycling is not your interest, simply sit back in a hammock and enjoy the fresh country air.
