In Sonamarg, you can stop over to explore prominent places like Vishansar Lake, Shutkari Bridge and take a drive around the Zoji La Pass.</p><p>Later, you will continue your road trip to Kargil. En route to Kargil, you can explore Drass Valley, the historic location where the Kargil War took place. En route visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest Gompa in Nubra Valley. The gompa is known for its beautiful architecture, intricate frescos and wall paintings.</p><p>On reaching Nubra Valley, head to Hunder village for an adventurous ride of the two-humped Bactrian Camel or opt for Quad biking. Have breakfast and prepare to drive from Pangong to Leh.</p><p>On arrival at Leh, complete your check-in formalities and if you wish to visit some sightseeing attractions then you can visit the Rancho School from the famous 3 Idiots movie and Thiksey Monastery. You can also visit Hemis Gompa, which is the biggest and most richly endowed monastery in Ladakh. If you do not want to go sightseeing, you can also enjoy your free time for the day and visit the local bazaar.</p><p>At night return to the hotel for dinner and a night stay.</p>
