Explore Angkor (B) - Joint in Tour

<p>At 08:00 AM, you’ll meet your guide and depart for<strong> Angkor Thom</strong>, the great fortress city of King Jayavarman VII. Constructed after the Cham invasion (Pangong Tso7-1181), this incredible complex is a testament to the strength and vision of the Khmer Empire.</p><p>Begin your exploration at <strong>Bayon Temple</strong>, the heart of Angkor Thom. Its 54 towering structures, adorned with the serene faces of Avalokiteshvara, reflect both artistic mastery and the legacy of the Khmer Empire.</p><p>Next, discover the <strong>Terrace of the Leper King</strong>, an intricately carved royal crematorium thought to depict Yama, the god of death. A walk along the grand <strong>Terrace of Elephants</strong> reveals its role as a royal viewing platform, where kings once presided over grand ceremonies. The journey continues with a visit to Baphuon, an 11th-century architectural gem that once stood as one of Angkor’s most breathtaking temples.</p><p>Then proceed to <strong>Ta Prohm</strong>, commonly known as the “Tomb Raider” temple. <p><strong>Pick up at: 07:30 AM – 08:00 AM | Depart: 08:30 PM</strong></p><p>The day starts with a drive through the picturesque countryside, towards the tranquil mountain of Phnom Kulen. You will be driving through peaceful scenery to reach the renowned Kulen Waterfall. You can swim in the cool waters or just relax and soak up the cheerful ambiance of the local families.</p><p>After that, you will come across the River of a Thousand Lingas. This is a shallow river with ancient carvings lining it, and it is a sacred place where many people visit to be traditionally blessed using the holy water.</p><p>The trek goes on to the top of the mountain, where a huge stone Reclining Buddha lies serenely inside a pagoda. The scene at the top is peaceful and lovely. You will be taken back to your hotel in the afternoon by a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.</p><p>You’ll spend the night at the hotel. <p>You will depart from <strong>Vat Xieng Thong</strong>, a sacred monastery that echoes the royal and spiritual heritage of Laos. Wat Visoun, the oldest temple in the Lao style, provides a hint of the country’s architectural history, whereas <strong>Wat Mai</strong> is the largest and most decorated temple in Luang Prabang. You will witness Asiatic black bears that have been rescued and safely housed in the sanctuary of <strong>Kuang Si Bear Rescue Center</strong>.</p><p>The trip continues to <strong>Kuang Si Falls</strong>, whose turquoise water cascades into relaxing pools, perfect for a cooling swim. Luang Prabang - Cruise to Pak Ou Caves (B) - Fly to Hanoi

<p>After checking out, you can leave your luggage at the hotel reception. The staff will keep it safe for you until your return.</p><p>At nine thirty in the morning, a tuk-tuk driver will come to pick you up and take you to the boat jetty. There, you will board the Nava Mekong, a traditional wooden boat, and begin a shared cruise along the peaceful Mekong River. As you travel, enjoy the calm river scenery and observe the daily life of local people living along the water.</p><p>During the two-hour cruise upstream, you will stop at <strong>Ban Xang Hai village</strong>, known for making traditional Lao rice wine. Then, continue on to the <strong>Pak Ou Caves</strong>, a sacred site located where the Nam Ou River meets the Mekong. Inside the caves, you can admire thousands of Buddha statues placed there by pilgrims over many centuries.</p><p>On the way back, a light lunch of Lao dishes will be served on board. The return cruise takes about one and a half hours, and you will arrive back in Luang Prabang around two in the afternoon. Our driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.</p><p>After picking up your luggage, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. A short walk leads to the <strong>One Pillar Pagoda</strong>, a remarkable structure dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy and considered one of the most unique pagodas in the world.</p><p>Then explore the diverse cultures of Vietnam at the <strong>Vietnam Ethnology Museum</strong>, showcasing the traditions of 54 ethnic minorities. On Monday, the program will include the Vietnamese Women’s Museum instead.</p><p>After a delicious Vietnamese lunch, continue to <strong>Tran Quoc Pagoda</strong>, Hanoi’s oldest temple, beautifully situated on a small island in West Lake. The afternoon unfolds with a visit to the <strong>Temple of Literature</strong>, Vietnam’s first university, founded in 1070. On the way, enjoy a short 20-minute break to stretch your legs and relax.</p><p>Once you arrive in <strong>Hoa Lu</strong>, you’ll visit the ancient capital of Vietnam from the 10th century. Explore the temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le dynasties, famous for their unique architecture. You’ll also have the chance to learn about the ancient royal palaces and the historical significance of this site.</p><p>At 12:30 PM, it’s time to relax and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, giving you the energy to continue your journey.</p><p>After lunch, board a sampan boat in <strong>Tam Coc</strong> for a serene ride along the river, surrounded by picturesque mountains, rice fields, and peaceful villages. As you glide through the water, you will pass through three caves (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba), each offering its breathtaking view.</p><p>Once the boat ride is over, you’ll return to the dock and begin your drive back to Hanoi. A quick 20-minute rest stop en route helps break up the journey.</p><p>By noon, you’ll arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor and hop aboard a scenic 5–6-hour cruise through the bay, enjoying lunch while sailing past limestone islets with fascinating shapes and stories behind their names.</p><p>In the afternoon, explore the magnificent <strong>Surprising Cave</strong> filled with ancient stalactites and stalagmites, then head to <strong>Titop Island</strong> for beach time or a rewarding hike up to panoramic views.</p><p>Later, glide through the tranquil <strong>Luon Cave</strong> by kayak or bamboo boat.
