<p>Today will be a time for a road trip to Kargil via Sonamarg. So, begin your day with a healthy breakfast at your hotel and later leave for Kargil.</p><p>Sonamarg is the “meadow of gold”. The drive to Sonamarg from Srinagar is a beautiful road, which will stay in your memory forever. The snow-covered mountains will be a sight on your entire road journey. In Sonamarg, you will visit Vishansar Lake, Zoji La Pass and the Shutkari Bridge.</p><p>On the way to Kargil you will also visit Drass Valley. This is the place where the Kargil war took place. At this location, the Pakistani Army had dropped shells, due to which the war broke out.</p><p>Later, after a passport check, continue your journey to Kargil. Upon your arrival at your hotel in Kargil, complete your check-in process and take some rest before dinner and an overnight stay.</p>

<p>Time for yet another road journey. Today you will leave for Leh via Lamayuru. So, after you finish your breakfast, begin with your journey.</p><p>In Lamayuru, you will visit the Alchi Monastery. This monastery is located in a village. It is a complex of Buddhist temples. Alchi is the oldest of them all the monasteries located in the complex. Its highlight is the traditional Tibetan architecture.</p><p>In Lamayuru you will also visit Moonland. This is a landscape that you can admire on the way to Kargil on the Leh-Kargil road. If time permits, you can also visit the Lamayuru Monastery. Visit the place for its murals, frescoes and paintings.</p><p>Once you reach your hotel in Leh, complete you check-in process for a night stay and dinner at the hotel.</p>

<p>On Day 4, you will begin your day with a healthy breakfast at the hotel and then head out for a sightseeing tour.</p><p>In Leh, the first destination you will visit is Diskit Gompa. The gompa is the oldest and largest in the region. It is located on a slope of a mountain and it hence it overlooks the snow-covered mountain peaks of the Himalayan ranges.</p><p>Your next destination is Shanti Stupa. Famous for its white dome it is a Buddhist monument that holds the relics of Buddha. The architecture of the stupa is what attracts tourists.</p><p>Another destination on your list is the Leh Palace. It is known as 'Lhachen Palkhar’ as well. The palace was constructed in the 17th-century and is now a major tourist attraction. The museum in the palace is one of its highlights too.</p><p>At evening, return to your hotel for a delicious dinner meal and some goodnight’s sleep.</p>

<p>Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel and then head to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass.</p><p>At Khardungla, apart from enjoying the beautiful view of the surroundings, you can enjoy a camel ride as well. The snow-covered mountain peaks surrounding you will make of the perfect backdrop, so do not forget to click some adorable pictures. Spend some time at the pass and then continue your road trip to Nubra Valley.</p><p>Once you arrive in Nubra Valley check in to your hotel and take some rest. Post that, leave for your sightseeing tour.</p><p>The first attraction on your itinerary is a Bactrian Camel Ride. These camels are known for their two humps and it’s a fun ride to experience. This ride is at Hunder village so apart from the camel ride you can also explore the village.</p><p>Later, visit the Panamik Hot Springs. The spring has medicinal properties and hence many tourists from over the world come to visit this destination. It means the lake of the Sun God. It is the third-highest lake in India and is a must-visit. You can also visit a few monasteries around and spend time interacting with the locals and get to know the culture of the region.</p><p>Later at night, head back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.</p>
