Today you will be proceeding towards Banganga to trek for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan Darshan-one of the most popular pilgrimages of India Situated in the lap of Trikuta Mountains across Katra town at an altitude of around 5200 feet. This temple is located about 12 km away from Katra to visit this temple one has a pony or Travel by foot / Palkies from Katra. We will visit this temple either by traveling on foot or hire a pony from Katra the Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine is located in a cave towards the top of the Trikuta Mountains in Jammu- Kashmir. There are three pindies of Mata Mahakali, Mata Mahalakshmi and Mata Mahasaraswati. This is believed to be the only places where these three devise are found in one temple as natural pindies.
